Do you have a story to share but are unsure how to get others to listen?

One thing is certain—you can’t expect to stand out from the crowd by telling the same story as everyone else.

If you want to transform yourself as a leader and as a brand, you first must transform your story.

Your goal is to think differently about the stories you tell about you.

A good story is authentic, creative, intimate and emotional. It inspires action and takes the audience on a journey with you and your brand. Great stories affect the way we feel, the way we think and how we behave. To tell your story, first know who you are. Your story’s main character (you) has a personality.

What’s it like?

  • Write down some of your qualities and create a personality profile to refer to and remember.
  • Does your personality have characteristics like any of the known archetypes you identified?
  • Identify who you are—honestly, authentically and openly.
  • Make the main character of your story someone that your followers can relate to and identify with—a character with similar values, goals and aspirations.

This can transform your story and your storytelling.

And if you’re promoting a solution or service, your storytelling can become story-selling. If you don’t tell your story, someone else will.

Do you have a story to share but don’t know exactly how?

As we step into 2024, ask yourself:

Am I taking advantages of the unlimited opportunities in my space?

What strategic adjustments are necessary to ensure your business is aligned with them?

How will you take off in a brand new direction in 2024?

What course corrections do you need to make?
