Is the ‘you’ you see a true reflection of the real you?

Being a identical twin has given me the power to see myself outside of myself. I can literally see myself outside of myself by observing my twin Lorrie Lee – I know what i look like, I know what I sound like and I know how I’m perceived and I know my brand as a leader.

We can learn a great deal about leadership by studying identical twins – Identical twins face unique challenges, including being constantly compared to one another, which fosters resilience. This adaptability is crucial for leadership, where leaders must handle criticism, setbacks, and high expectations.

We often fill each other to complete each other, which means twins tend to develop complementary skills and strengths. This dynamic illustrates the power of collaborative leadership. Research says that 40-60% of leadership traits are hereditary, suggesting that identical twins may share similar baseline leadership tendencies but develop distinct approaches depending on their individual experiences.

From my firsthand experience at refining my individuality throughout my life, I’ve perfected the ability to perceive distinct differences in other people, other companies and other brands.

Powerful.
