Who or what could you partner with that, on the surface, seems too disparate – but together, create something more powerful?

Saw this intriguing campaign in NEWYORKTIMES.COM magazine featuring a collaboration between DomPérignon and the late great Jean-Michel Basquiat. The combination of luxury champagne and raw, expressive art may seem worlds apart, but together they redefine what it means to blend sophistication with unfiltered creativity.

This got me thinking: some of the most unexpected partnerships yield the most profound results. They allow us to harness different strengths, perspectives, and audiences, elevating both brands in ways they couldn’t achieve alone.

As thought leaders, we often talk about the power of collaboration. I’ve been lucky to have an identical twin Lorrie Lee – but how often do we actively seek out partnerships that challenge our assumptions, redefine our boundaries, or push us toward new creative expressions?
