Stand for Something and You’ll Stand Out

Growing an audience is about more than chasing followers; it’s about standing out so that you draw followers to you.

Stand for something and you’ll stand out.

In today’s environment, standing out and being noticed and remembered by your audiences and followers is not only crucial, it’s a matter of success or failure.

After years of working with various leaders and brands, we learned that the most effective strategy in standing out is to first identify who you are (your authentic self) and why you do what you do (your purpose) and then integrate these into every part of your public persona (your brand).

If you were asked the question, “why do you do what you do?” Your first thought may be, “to share what I know with others, of course.”

All brands and thought leaders need to grow their audiences, to be heard and recognized. But in today’s over-congested mediascape, offering a new idea or solution isn’t enough to stand out.

You need a laser focus on your message and your brand as a leader to rise above the crowd.

As we step into 2024, ask yourself:

Do I stand out as a brand and/or thought leader?

What strategic adjustments are necessary to ensure your business is aligned with them?

How will you take off in a brand new direction in 2024?

What course corrections do you need to make?
